Change Healthcare Inc. Data Breach Litigation

We represent an orthopaedics hospital in a class action against Change Healthcare and United Healthcare. This action is a result of a data breach suffered by customers of Change Healthcare, Inc. (“Change Healthcare” or “Defendant”), which resulted in millions of files of data – containing personal health information (“PHI”) and personally-identifiable information (“PII”) including medical records, insurance records, dental records, payment information, claims information, contact information, and Social Security numbers, of millions of persons located throughout the United States.

The Change Healthcare litigation raises allegations that massive security failures inside the organization resulted in the data breach, seeking hundreds of millions of dollars in financial compensation for those impacted.

Our class action was consolidated into the MDL in the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota. Arthur Murray of the Murray Law Firm is a member of the Patient Track Plaintiff Leadership Steering Committee. Our firm remains actively involved in this litigation.
